The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years News Anchor experience and work well in a team environment. You’ll write, prepare, and anchor daily newscasts with actualities, cover current and breaking news stories relevant to Maine, prepare and produce daily content, conduct interviews with newsmakers, and work with the morning show hosts on other show features and elements including posting related content for websites and social media.

Radio, both over the air and online, continues to be one of the most cost-effective mediums for reaching a large percentage of the population and Blueberry covers Eastern and Central Maine better than anybody with 5 unique brands across 15 signals plus digital streaming.
We are seeking a person who is highly motivated to help local businesses solve their marketing challenges. This position is primarily prospecting and developing new business.
Strong written and verbal skills, a sense of organization, and the ability to manage your time and set and achieve goals are required. Prior sales experience is a plus but not necessary; we will train the right person.
